An Post.ie developed by PCI snaps up the Esat BT Golden Spider Award.

The new An Post.ie group portal website, developed by PCI, sees the consolidation of information on all services offered by companies within the group under one website. These services are further grouped under Personal Services or Business services thereby making it quick and easy to access the information you require. The website design sees a fresh departure from its previous manifestation for a user-centric approach maximizing the usefulness of the website.

The decision to redevelop and restructure the An Post main website was proposed a little over a year ago. This award provides a strong endorsement that the approach taken was the right one and that the resulting site design has succeeded in achieving what it set out to do. It is PCI’s hope that the new website will leave visitors to the site better informed and with a positive experience of An Post.

Esat BT judging representatives awarded the An Post.ie website on excellence in technology and appealing graphical content. It is an honour to both An Post and PCI to receive this prestigious award. PCI employ best practice design and usability principles and the technologies necessary to support the business goals and objectives of all its customers. The Esat BT Golden Spider Awards 2003 took place on 2nd October at a gala black tie awards ceremony and dinner at the Burlington Hotel.
